Safua’s gamification system is designed to reward consistent effort, not just completion. Every meaningful action earns XP. Streaks reward daily habits. Badges mark real milestones. Leaderboards create healthy peer competition.

Streaks
A streak is the number of consecutive days you’ve completed at least one learning activity (reading a lesson, submitting a lab, or posting a standup).
Protecting your streak
- Focus Freeze — earn one by completing a module. Protects your streak for one missed day. Activate from your dashboard before midnight.
- Weekend Rest Mode — enable in settings to exclude Saturdays and Sundays from your streak calculation.
Focus Freezes don’t stack. You can only hold one at a time.
Badges
Badges are awarded for reaching specific milestones. They appear on your public profile.

| 🤝 Good Reviewer | Complete 10 peer code reviews |
| 🎓 Foundation Complete | Complete all 6 Foundation modules |
| 🚀 Track Complete | Complete a full career track |
Leaderboards
Three leaderboard scopes:
